As described previously here on the blog, a horse’s total weight refers to the weight of its bones and muscles. Weighing a horse is a simple matter.
To determine the total horse weight, measure one of the horses feet. Measure with an adult tape measure, taking care not to get the measurements wrong.
Once you’ve measured one of the horses foot (just for your info), calculate the horse’s weight. Again, measuring one of the horses feet, make sure that there aren’t other measuring devices nearby. For example, if you have a pair of slings, don’t measure your own horse’s back feet. Don’t let any other party’s measurements ruin your day.
Now that you have a horse’s weight, it needs to be registered. This is accomplished by filling out form 1B on the FCA website, and submit it with the registration of any new horse that you would like to breed.
As of 2017, registration will cost about $350 to register a new horse, which is a hefty estimate.
After you register a new horse, it is necessary to fill out FCA registration form.
Once the horse has been registered, you will be able to register any horses (or their offspring) that you have in your barn. As you can see below, the registration is very similar to registering a normal, living horse.
Here are some additional steps you need to follow to properly register a horse.

Complete and submit paperwork for the new horse you wish to register
Ensure that your horse has been measured by a qualified vet to ensure that it is exactly as it should be (as stated on FCA website)
Register the horse.
Note: You can register your horses with the FCA at the same place you apply for a breeding licence and registration.
Once you have finished the two required steps, your horse can now be registered in the FCA Registry.
On the second week of the Republican National Convention, Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) took a moment to address Republican delegates and voters gathered downtown. While not addressing the convention directly, Christie said that many in the party were not in the room to properly debate the presidential nominee.
“We had a lot of folks come down at the end of the week who were, unfortunately, not in the audience, and I think there’s a big difference between that and the audience that was watching the debates,” Christie said. “I
