A levitation machine that looks like this is the answer to that question. The machine was developed by a man named William K. Johnson. He had designed his own levitation machine before, but this one is unique. The machine requires less energy to move. It’s so small, it can be mounted on the wall of a single room. The magnets just need to be close. They can then be moved around to the desired location.
The reason Johnson is using magnets instead of wires or batteries is that they stay put while levitating. It can levitate anywhere there isn’t enough friction. It also allows the machine to control its weight to make it easier to balance while levitating.
That technology is only an example of an ever-increasing number of uses for microdrones. They’ve been getting bigger and smaller and are now coming in from all directions at any given moment. Some of them are good for advertising, many can be used for medical purposes, and many have been used for surveillance in places like Turkey.
