How do you levitate with chalk? How do you levitate with a broomstick? This is an interesting question. I’m going to try and answer it: The first time you levitate with pencils, you have to levitate yourself very rapidly. I’ll bet you cannot do it very fast, because it will be very difficult even for us to keep up with you. If you try to do it over and over you will get tired. You’ll have to keep practising, keeping moving your pencils, and at the end of that it will probably take so long that you won’t even notice it. On the other hand, when you use chalk to levitate with, you have to get yourself slowly up on your feet, without moving from the spot. The last thing you need is a cramp in your hamstring from doing that.
But to answer the question, the way to do it is to put the pencils into the space between your toes. Then you take your leg back under yourself and begin moving your leg slightly out of the space you’ve got when you don’t have to move your hand. After a while you’ll begin to gain some height, and once you’ve done that, you’ll feel your foot float.
This is what I call super levitation. I used to do it in school when I was a little kid. I used to make a lot of mistakes on my paper exercises, and I’d feel this pressure of pencils, and then I’d feel the paper float. In the same way, I’ve found that you have to bring yourself to feel the pencils in your hand for some time before you can levitate.
Once you’ve learned the trick, you can try it for yourself by laying down in front of a bright light, sitting on a sofa, walking around, and drawing your pencil shapes into the sky. You can make yourself float in the air just as if you had been levitating. You can do this even if it’s cold, hot, rainy, sunny, or in a thunderstorm. The trick’s only really important if you’re going to be standing up in the air for very long periods to create the effect.
To levitate with chalk, you’ve got to do it quickly, as the light will be too high. If you think about this, think about how very little time you have to practise, to get it right. That would have to be something that you would think about when you’re sitting there just
