Levitation magic involves two principles.

There are very few advanced students out there who can use the levitation magic to get you home, so make sure you get some classes with the levitation class. There are also some advanced students with good strength and balance. They can use the magic to get in a great amount of weight, but it’s not the fastest way to get back home. In addition, they cannot use magic while carrying things.
They have to use this with someone who can use magic, and preferably with a good balance and good strength so they don’t hurt themselves or anyone else, like a lot of older students.
If you’re going to learn magic, use this when you’re looking for some extra time. You could use this to travel for example or just get rid of some bags in the school and make room for more things.
The only trick to learning to levitate is to practice it a lot. There are not that many people who can do it, but it’s a skill that will come up quite often throughout your life. Learning the way to do this is extremely important to make sure you understand the principles behind magical levitation.
Other Magic
