An Ohio teenager faces a series of charges after police were called to her home and discovered her husband had been sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl, the Star-Telegram of Cleveland reports.
Bryan Johnson Jr. is the 16-year-old suspect, who was allegedly involved with five victims between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. The oldest of the alleged victims, who is 5, was the alleged child’s father, police said.
Johnson, 20, faces charges including rape, criminal sexual penetration, attempted aggravated child rape, and unlawful restraint. He has also been charged with felony child neglect – Johnson allegedly left the 5-year-old home alone when she was 12 years old in August.
An investigation into allegations of sexual abuse in the home was launched by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 6 after the mother of one of Johnson’s victims contacted police, claiming that Johnson had sexually abused her daughter, as well as a son, in the last year.
“It’s just a matter of time before his life hangs from a noose,” Franklin County Sheriff Richard J. Beasley told the Washington Post.
