It’s about being comfortable, getting to the center,” says the 30-year-old actor.
Dance is like a therapy for the human body, he explains, a way of releasing stress, dealing with anxiety and dealing with pain.
“Dance is about giving to yourself, when you are vulnerable, to get closer to other people, to feel part of more. It is also about feeling free when you are in control of your feelings. And also letting go,” he continues.

In his short film and music video “Dance with Me,” M.O.B. takes a simple message at the heart of his music – “being yourself”—and distills that message, giving everything an energy and expression, until its reach has reached the highest heights of his own soul. Like the man himself, he wants to embrace himself, his flaws and his life through the medium of his music.
“Some people love who they are and some people don’t,” says M.O.B. “Most of the time, they don’t realize there is a huge, complex human inside that person, and you can create something out of that.”
Dance with Me features performances by four of the six main band members — Dax, the Darksides, Killa Kyle and Kilo Kish.
And the band isn’t doing this just to make friends, as they work as a collective with one purpose: to make you dance.
“Dance music is very social. I want people to feel that at first because it will be hard to take it as a solo thing. But then as the record goes on, people will recognize more of that song and more of that feeling inside.”
The Darksides is a rock band whose members have known one another since elementary school. In their latest collaborative album, “Fool’s Gold,” they cover songs they’ve already done together and add new ones for the first time, and they play a few original tunes with their new record.
“This album is not about me just being in the room with them,” says Kilo Kish, whose band Darksides has always been, as he puts it, “in the room.” He’s playing the piano and the guitar while the Darksides play the violin and the drums. “The whole point of this is to bring a
