He doesn’t take himself very seriously, but he gets very, very drunk. This song is very popular amongst middle-age couples and also very popular amongst young women. It’s got a hook that is really good, but it’s also a great rhythm that goes to your heart.

Are there any rap songs that you find yourself having to hear a lot of times?
There is nothing that I’ve been listening to that I’ve listened to more than ‘Mortal Man’. It was the first rap song I ever learned. I used to listen to it in church every week. It was like the best gospel. It’s a great track on that album. That’s the one I always listen to.
Do you have any musical hobbies?
Nothing.
It seems like the last few years you’ve been spending a lot of time with your wife. Have you had girlfriends before?
There’s been girlfriends who’ve come and gone, but I think there has to be a limit in what you do with other people. I’m not one of those who is going to be in it forever and say, “Let’s see what happens.”
What is your greatest fear?
I think I would have to say fear for my life.

Oh, there are so many. One of my favorite moments of my life was when I was 14. I remember when I had a gun tucked into my lap. They would throw us for not walking to the front door by one o’ clock. My parents were like, “We don’t want anybody getting shot. We do not want to go to trouble.” Then, they were about to leave and they started walking towards me and I was behind them. They had guns behind us, so we just jumped out, put our hands out, and started running from them, we had a little fight, then we ran, and they were chasing us.
