The main things to look for are:
– How much does the place charge?
– How long will it stay open?
– What is the temperature like?
– Is the location clean?
– Does it smell bad?
– Does anyone know how to take a shower?
– Are there rooms for rent with bathrooms?
– How hard is it to get in and out of this place?
– Are there any other services required for the place to function on schedule?

2) What is the type of rooms available?
You will find that you can stay in all different types of rooms in a rental property:
– Basic room:
– Queen
– King
– Queen King Bed – This room has the main bed and the king bed and will usually have a queen bed as standard.
– Double bedroom:
– Double
– Bed room
– Bed room Bathroom -This will have a bathroom as standard.
– King bed
– This will normally sleep 4 to 6. The room has two beds but may have one or more king beds.
– Bedroom suite – If you stay with a couple, this will usually be a suite for 2 to 3.

– Bedroom suite bath – This has the usual bathroom and shower.
3) What do you need for a room to function on schedule?
In all rental types, you will need:
– Food and drink – There is usually a bar open late for coffee, tea, coffee & juice, or beer in Singapore.
4) What are the facilities like?
Many rental properties require that the rooms have washrooms with hot running water. The beds and bathrooms need to have air conditioning. This is also sometimes associated with a washing machine.
For example, in one of our favourite rental properties, the rooms were divided into different suites. Each suite has its own bathroom. If there is one, there could be two or three of them.
