By limiting their three-point shots, they are actually putting their team in a better position to score through contact and their offense can be balanced. If a player is able to successfully avoid being fouled by his own team’s defenders, he can take over the game. As a result, their offense goes up a step.

So now we have a little bit of an understanding of the rules and how they may benefit us, how about we look at a three-pointer? Can it really be a good play?
The rules for a player making a three-pointer are very little. The one they do have is that two players in the same team must be within an eight foot area of each other when they make a three. If they are within this area, the shot is made.
