We recommend starting at ages 7-8, but anyone can begin at age 8! (If your child wants to learn with us, be sure not to wait until he is older!)
What is the average time it takes to master guitar? We all know that it takes years and years to learn a musical instrument. We suggest that your child begin learning guitar in his or her early twenties, as his or her musical understanding develops. (Don’t fret: There are a few important things that will help your child progress better along the way, though. First, be sure that your child can handle difficult chord progressions.)
Does the guitar teach the child some of the skills he will need later? It may help to start your teacher on some simple chords and scales in anticipation of the lessons.

It is no secret that the city of New York had a rough past with police. The city’s police were brutalized by the Nazis during the war. At the turn of the twentieth century, the police were the first of many repressive forces in society to begin to transform a police force into a “military”. Many police officers like Harry Delano Roosevelt were trained to serve as soldiers rather than police officers, because the American police were not prepared for a police army and the new military was going to be much more ruthless, and many police officers were willing to do the work of a soldier to get their paycheck. For example, a former police officer, William McNeill, was trained to kill black people in a shooting spree in Harlem to make the police in New York feel threatened and feared.
The war on cops today is a war of war on people and in police departments across America. A large portion of law enforcement is not law. We call them “the war on cops”. The war has escalated. In the past year, there has been a high number of people killed by police officers, and there have not been any investigations or indictments against the officer who did it.
