I think that as a musician, you have a certain style of playing. You’re not going to be the biggest guitarist, but you’re also not going to be the biggest keyboardist. What I also like is if I can have an idea that a guy’s playing, and I can just hear his guitar and feel his voice. That’s really what I like.

I love being on both sides of the debate and being part of a community. As a Christian, my main focus is Christ and his church, while being a part of a community is important in my faith journey. I believe that any community is made up of some people who aren’t Christians and the other kind people. This is true irrespective of race, or sexual orientation, or even the kind of gender one identifies with. I also believe in the equality of humanity, and think we have much in common. I am a feminist, and find there is a lot of value in women in leadership positions. I believe it is important that we show leadership to our children.
I grew up with the gospel being taught by my parents and my teacher, Pastor Jack Chick and my father, who was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. My parents gave me a pretty normal education, and the majority of the family had access to computers and video games. I watched cartoons whenever I could, and I played video games.
Through my education, I grew up with the concept that marriage is a union between a man and a woman, or with children, or with a loving relationship, like siblings. I grew up with a strong sense of individualism, but with a healthy balance in the church. When I was around 10ish, many of our kids were going off to college,
