If I don’t have a book I can show others how I edit. I can also tell another author how to write and then show them what I’ve learned. So, in this way, we’ll be able to write more books and get better at writing.

10. The Big Idea: Are You Ready For An Interview?
Do you think it’s worth being interviewed as an author? We think so! Here’s how we do it, step by step. If we don’t hear back within a week, we don’t think it’s worth doing it. I’m not that experienced with Ruby, so I don’t know what I mean by “Ruby is a bad language”. I’m not that familiar with Java. Here’s what I know:
Most Ruby code is pretty much copy-paste of code in an existing application, usually using some kind of framework (for example: MVC, SQLAlchemy, ActiveModel, etc). So, the first question to ask yourself is: are you writing your code in the standard way? For example, you’re using ActiveModel and MVC here. You are also doing some other sort of framework-driven logic/design in your code.
You’re also doing a lot of the same “Hello World” stuff. What languages are used to do this? How do you make it a little different from the average Ruby code? For example, if you’re using a framework, do you have your own views, your own controller, your own database etc.? If not, how do you create those things? What’s the process of building the application? How does it differ from the standard way? How does it feel to do the same thing in a different way? Do your tools let you change your mind quickly?
There are a lot more questions that come to mind and this post isn’t going down those roadways. Maybe you should
