With the Image Cleaner, you simply select the layer and select the Brush Tool in the Palette. You can also drag the layers on the toolbar. To remove unwanted layers, go to Image > Trim layers and use the following options:

The layers are all removed. No need to worry about re-organizing your images. You can always go back to the original layer and apply another adjustment layer at a later time.

Step 8 – Adjustment layers I

Now that you have a few adjustments layers, we’re going to add some details to the main image.

Step 9 – Creating the main image

After you have selected a large area of an image in your image viewer, click on the button “Create layer” which looks like a big + icon.

The button will make you create a new layer with a name of “Main”.

If you want to rename it, just click on the name button and choose where in the image you wish to use the new layer.

In the main image layer, add a New Adjustment layer.

Step 10 – Adding layers to your images

Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer, and name it “Layers” or “Clipping Mask”. It is best if you can see your adjustment layer in the layer panel as a preview before you add it to your image.

In the same part of the interface, click on the button “Merge Adjustments” to combine two or more of the previous adjustments into one.

Step 11 – Combine the new layers

Click on the button “Clamp” and drag it down to the desired area of your image. A large grey box will appear in the layer panel. You can choose whether you want it to affect a single layer or one layer by clicking on it and then choose between “All” and “Select Only”. We will see this in later steps when adjusting other layers.

In your new layer, drag a new layer onto it and save it as an anchor point. If this is your first attempt to create a new adjustment layer, your background image will be the anchor point. Click on the button “Undo” and the new layer will be reverted back to its original location.

Add a new layer below your new anchor and click on the button “Rotate”. A preview of the new layer will be displayed in the layer panel.

This button rotates the adjusted layer and leaves the original
