Ethics photography is the process of taking images that convey, in your words, “the ethical values that you wish that the image could represent.”
The most widely accepted ethical standard is that of “the highest degree of ethical photography,” defined as “the highest degree of professional photographic practice”.
So what does “the highest degree” mean?
Well, what if we were to say, for example, that the ethical standard for a professional photographer includes:

I’d have to say that that is the highest degree that a person could ever aspire to.

Ethical photography might help you in any number of ways.
The fact that the photos you take will ultimately convey the most ethical message will serve as a catalyst for any other ethical values you might try to convey with your photography.
If I could, I would like to propose this idea to you: If you are planning to take a photo to create an interesting narrative or to convey moral messages, I urge you consider photographing as many people as possible to see what kinds of ethics your photograph is expressing.
You will find that it is possible to work with the best of intentions, and that sometimes using the best of intentions will help you do so, and sometimes it might hinder your ability to convey any type of ethical message you might hope to.
To quote the ethical photographer Bill Bishop at his blog: “Photographing with intent, though, is not a violation of the rules. If you think it’s wrong, then don’t photograph it. It’s wrong.”

There are many elements that come into play that determine the kind of ethics you could wish to convey with your work; one of those elements is the photographer’s approach to the project.
Some people prefer focusing on the ethical value of their work through their photography. Others, who have chosen to focus more on the practicality, the mechanics, or simply to just to be the best at what they do, will often find themselves working as a team.
However, if you find yourself not focusing on your work and instead, choosing to work solo, I think you are more than prepared to be challenged in this area.
