Job Requirements and Experience
All cybersecurity jobs require prior knowledge of federal laws and regulations pertaining to cybersecurity and systems security. As a cybersecurity professional, you must complete a variety of security courses (e.g., ISO 28001, ISO 27001, and AS-1 codes), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires an extensive background check.
