If so, I want to write about the technique that best suits each of you. How do you feel about this: How your fingers feel when you play? Are they more or less elastic? What are the pros and cons of the playing techniques that you use (that would help make your music sound better, etc.)? If not, then do you have any additional suggestions for anyone who is interested (including myself) in learning how to play like this. How would you define your comfort level with the playing technique of the right hand (left, left-hand)? How do you feel when you play? Is it a matter of having good muscle control that keeps my left hand in a straight line?
There are several general approaches to these questions. I’m not a huge fan of a lot of the first two questions, in that there are a lot of unknowns and you can’t answer them all. Some things are better to find out by listening to someone play. In the case of the first two questions, you probably are better off learning by listening to someone, but it still helps to learn from the examples, so as to know what it is you are trying to do when you go to play. I usually suggest reading some of the “notes” at the end of an album’s liner notes, to learn the basic chord structure, as that will give you a sense of how it’s supposed to be played. I don’t know how to read music in that form, but there are some good resources out there from musicians, but I don’t see any references to these in a song on the back cover of a CD. In the case of the above, if I had known what chords were being played, I would have tried to play the same chords with one hand. It takes practice to make that switch, but it was very tempting.

With the following questions, I’ve tried to use some simple examples to get a general feel for the different aspects you may need to work on. I’m not going to give detailed, detailed answers here. There are plenty of great resources out there. But if you have some specific questions, I’ll be happy to help you, especially if you have heard about my program and are looking for a way to improve your playing with music theory, and/or if you want some hints. I also don’t have to be the last or most knowledgeable person on this forum. As the name suggests, I’m interested in the topic of playing with the fingers that touch the strings
