There are many different ways to teach your first piano class. Here are a few suggestions that will help you learn and retain piano. The key elements include:
1: Listen – this will help you to make a decision about whether you do or do not want to learn.
2: Play and learn – this will involve practicing so you can play without thinking about it.
3: Listen for errors – This can be used on yourself to see how you can improve and not make the same mistake again when you play.
4: Play and learn – this will involve some more practice so you can practice on the piano without thinking.
5: Make mistakes – This can be used on yourself so you know what the goal of practicing is and can do it better next time
It’s up to you what technique you follow.

I first heard about ‘The Red Wall’, by Canadian photographer Chris Condon, when it was featured in an international exhibition. The image was originally published in the October 2008 issue of NME Magazine under the tagline “Why I’m not a feminist”. My jaw dropped because I knew it was a great example of a classic photo, from a new perspective.
Since then, I’ve been looking for this photograph in all its glory, while not knowing where it is. So I called up Chris to try and find out more. And what I saw was amazing – I had to see it.
We spoke by phone, and then over Skype. Chris’ photos range from intimate portraits to large scale outdoor works, but this video features a very small but stunning portrait of one tiny butterfly.
“This is a very short story and that’s what it is. It’s about me and my work,” says Chris.
“It’s about the way I work. I have not painted anything since ’80 [in an exhibition celebrating his 80 Years of Photography]. I just started this exhibition this year, and I just took a lot of time and thought about this and what I wanted to show. And in the end, I’m glad I did, but in the end it’s about what I can do with this. Because in the end, this is only a single photograph, and this is a single snapshot from one single moment.”
