When age 1, you can start doing lessons for up to £4.50 a pop. We also offer a range of free and paid music lessons, in both a self, or with a professional accompanist. I don’t mind where you take lessons for you, as long as you are willing to pay me (I have no personal experience with beginners), but I do want you to make sure I can really focus on helping you and not getting distracted by other things. I’m not there to get a little bit of extra pay per month, so if you start to get excited, but you’re worried of a big fee, I will try to reassure you that it only costs £0.50 per hour. I would also recommend you read up on what you need to do to start lessons for free – it’s extremely time-consuming which can make learning very frustrating – just remember to follow my guidance and you will see an improvement in your music.
What age is best to start piano lessons? I think they should be at the age of 2 – 4. I don’t know what your age is, but I will try my best to help.
What’s the best time to play your first piano? It should be any time before 6 months, but please be patient as we work on the software. If it’s too good to start then we won’t get near it after some time. The best time is when you can pick up the piano without any other distractions – I get that you have children at home, so hopefully they don’t get too involved, but let us know if you start to get worried and we’ll try and help you get organised for the start.
When will you know you have reached the point of being able to play the piano properly?
I would love to find a way to be able to answer this as early as possible, but it seems as if when you can play up to five pieces at once, there’s no more learning. So that’s why I advise anyone that has the chance in this area to start piano lessons as early as possible.
