If you’re in a jam session and a friend has your short nails, you don’t have any problems. But, if your nails aren’t long enough, it’s a real problem. Even if your nails are long enough, you’ll be missing notes because you’ll end up playing the same thing over and over. If you’ve got really long nails, you need to consider a shorter nail.
If you’ve decided on long nails, there are tips to help you get all the way there. First off, I recommend not wearing nail polish on your fingers during your first year. It doesn’t really work very well, and is really hard to keep up. (In addition, I’ve had a friend who says that you do need a manicure on your nails, but it doesn’t do anything good for longer nails.) Now that you’ve got long nails, it’s a good idea to keep them pretty short. But, this won’t help if you have really long nails! If your nails are long enough, it’s still going to be really hard to play in a jam session because you’ll end up with a whole bunch of different sounding notes. And the real solution is to get short nails! But it’s a lot more work than you’re usually prepared for and taking a haircut on your face is no walk in the park.
You can also find a good manicure store. The first time I went to a salon, that’s where I got my first haircut. I found a salon (I think it was the same one), it looked nice, and there was a really good deal on manicures. A lot of them have a variety of colors and it was very easy to get a combination of colors, which helped me not have to go to such an extreme measure so many times.

I’d love to just start playing guitar and go on for a few years. But, I definitely see myself playing at least for a couple of concerts when I’m not working. In fact, my dream is to play in an arena, and that’s the only reason I’m going to do it with my friends. I know a lot of people have said it’s fun to go out to gigs and see other bands. But, I’ve played in tons of bands, and it’s only ever really been fun for three or four shows. I do think that’s what it has to be
