(I’m a baritone bassist.)
Well, you could still get the tenor version, but it’s gonna be a hell of a lot more expensive than the concert ukulele. (If I get the tenor, I’ll be buying a high-end ukulele, but if I get the concert ukulele, I’ll be buying a mid-level one at a fraction of the price.)
I’ll need to build a lot more equipment than I currently have, because even though I get the same instruments from all the studios and musicians in Europe each week, I’ve never been able to find people who play the right instruments.
There are more instruments than there are artists, and there are people who know instruments very well, but only a select few can perform at a high level. I want the most accomplished of the lot, so I need to buy the best instruments at the best price, all at once, at a time when I can find them.
And I want everything at once.
I want a tenor ukulele and an acoustic, but I don’t want to spend a lot of time and money buying just one or the other.
So I should have one of the most expensive ukuleles in the world, but I’m not going to buy one right now.
I should have a mid-level ukulele from a string company. But I won’t.

Which means that it’s more fun, because you can do all these crazy things you could never do with the ukulele, but with a tenor, if you’re on tour, you can use the ukulele as a tool, as a way of reaching the strings. If you’re practicing on the ukulele and you’re using an acoustic, then you’re really using the ukulele to reach the strings, and the string is really your tool. (Note: In some situations, like in a bar, where you can only hold one instrument at once, it may not be possible to use two instruments at
