(How much do ukulele companies charge?)
In order to find out my ukulele’s value I’ve broken down some real world figures from ukulele shops. For this I needed to do some calculations. I found these figures for the cheapest ukulele:
1 x ukulele: £20
2 x ukuleles: £35
3 x ukuleles: £50
4 x ukuleles: £60
5 x ukuleles: £70
So, it might cost you less or more to get one or two ukuleles. It comes down to money and the value of the instrument. What you like playing and how much you can put in the bank at any time. I think in my opinion the most expensive ukulele I’ve ever seen was the Roland Superlux Cello. It’s a very expensive instrument, especially for someone like myself who has been playing for years. So here’s the cost breakdown for the most cost effective ukuleles I could find.

The above figures are all in UK pounds. The actual cost of a ukulele depends very much on where you get it. You always need to do your due diligence when deciding where to buy a ukulele. Many of the shops will try and make it seem like a cheap item. However they will do nothing to cover the costs if you don’t put in full and proper credit for it.
Ukulele manufacturers usually also offer a discount for having a warranty against their instrument. This is important as there are a lot of instruments out there which come with a lifetime warranty. If you don’t have an adequate number of warranties, this is going to cost you money. Having a warranty can not only help you in buying more quality of instruments, but can protect you when something does go wrong. To get a warranty, you will need to do the following when buying your instrument:
