How to use them:
Drill the middle hole for the frets. The frets should be about 2/3 from the centerline of the frets at the same distance from the neck. Mark the fretboard surface using a piece of fine sandpaper and an equal size pencil. Place the frets and their centers on the fretboard and line them up with the marks you made on the sandpaper. The fret surface should be level (unmarked on guitar or wooden guitar). Measure the distance between the frets and the edge of the guitar (the bottom) with a ruler that is 3.5 mm at the smallest mark and 3 mm at the thickest mark of the fretboard with a protractor. Put a piece of sandpaper under the center of each spot to hold it in place. Cut the bottom line of the neck so the frets lay evenly over the top of the neck. With the tuner position set towards the middle string, slide the frets onto the neck to adjust the tuning, while keeping the tuner in a steady position. You can also adjust the string tension with the tuner (you need 5mm of string tension to set the tuner) and move the tuner to make the neck fit. You can also bend the frets. Take turns using the tuner to adjust the fretboard.

You do not have to align the frets and the bridge, but it is good to know what you need for certain styles if you want to get good performance.
