Can I take lessons at other UB Schools?
Absolutely! UB Music School offers both a paid-for tuition and a variety of other teaching services. All lessons are available in English; it is a requirement that the student must be able to pronounce the names of the instruments and know their parts.
Can I take lessons once I’m in the University?
Certainly! Just tell us when you enter UB Music, and we’ll set up an appointment.
Can I take lessons while I’m on work?
Unfortunately not. UB Music is fully subsidized (as UB are) by the University, so it takes a considerable amount of time to find the time and resources needed to cover these costs. However, this is not a problem as the costs of living at University level are much lower than the costs you face on the job.
My student has a health issue. What should I do?
The medical centre nearest to the Faculty of Music is in the Student Wellness Club. However, it is best to consult your GP if you or your student is unable or unwilling to attend the medical centre.

If you are coming by car, please park your car in front of the Student Wellness Club, between 9:00am and 10:00am. If you are coming by bus, bring a printed copy of your ID at all times.
