(I am a beginner) How many different instruments can u play before you need to learn more about ukulele? If i play guitar how long do i have time to practice before it feels pointless? What do you do when you don’t get it perfect? What do you think about the ukulele as a class? You must admit, ukulele is an instrument for the beginner. And if you have spent any amount of time learning music, the difference between a beginner and advanced ukulele player is huge. I’m sure you can tell the difference, since I’m an advanced ukulele player, but I can’t teach you. But there are many things to consider before a beginner picks up an instrument of any kind, I know this. Before you pick up an instrument, go through this list and do this thing or that. 1. You need to have music in your life. You need to have some sort of music. No other instrument should be required. 2. Learn the ukulele. It is a music instrument, so have some sort of musical background. Don’t feel guilty about the fact you don’t have music in you. 3. Get the idea in your head that you can play the ukulele, you’ll start to like it. 4. Use your free time to practice. Just like with any guitar, any kind of music, or any other instrument, you should practice every day. 5. Don’t skip any parts, it is important to make sure you play the right one to the best of your ability. The most important parts in music are: the melody, or notes that come at the start of the note sequence, the rhythm, or how well do all these come together. 6. Practice on all the instruments that you own. Learn all the sounds you have. Have a friend help. Have one person teach you. 7. Always play chords. That is, don’t think that’s a waste of time playing an octave down or an octave up. If you’re a beginner, you may never play a whole chord, but a chord has to have some melody and rhythm. So learning to play the chord is just another way to improve. 8. When you play a chord, start a new track and play the same chord and note sequence, one time, over and over. Then once you get the idea you are getting a feel for, you will be able to play it one time. Practice until you can play at
