Do you take a special interest in the dances and performers who perform in St. Ann’s?
“We have quite a large ensemble of dancers that really inspire and engage students and guests.”
What is one thing you can say about St. Ann’s that you wish other communities would know?
“Our dance team is comprised of a mix of students in college and a lot of students who came here on-field and are working their way through the program. One of the things we hope to get out of our dance team is having the opportunity to showcase what these dancers are learning.”
What was your first experience doing any social dancing or other fun things like in a dance studio?
“St. Ann’s has hosted many different fun events throughout my time here, including a student party and dance contest. I do remember having a ‘party’ at St. Ann’s for a dance team competition. It was awesome.”
Do you have any advice to the students at St. Ann’s?
“The best tip we have to offer is to make sure that students in your community are aware of the opportunities and resources available here. We hope that their students will be as well.”
What is one way that students who are interested in the life of a St. Ann’s student can learn more about the dancers and the community?
“We hope that the students who are interested in the life of a St. Ann’s student can get involved and get involved with the dance team and maybe have a little party when they graduate.”

This time, I wanted to take some of the time I had to give this new film a test run. It’s a little bit different and it’s probably the only time I get to work on one of my new films with some of the people and crew involved.
In the past, I’ve generally used the same crew for my films — I’d usually see some of the people, let them know I was watching, and leave and it would often be the end of the night before I’d have any more shots. Well, after the release of the first Hunger Games film, I wanted to get more involved. My initial strategy was to just get a few quick scenes into a small number of screenings; but I knew going into this project a bit on the cautious side, so I thought it might be helpful for folks
