For example, Fandango (you can check out the rules here for the website) allows you to pitch your project as a short project to a potential investor and is one of the most versatile crowdfunding resources for making films from start to finish.
There’s no shortage of great sites that offer film and TV production as a career.
The most well-known of these are: Indiegogo, Crowdfunder, IndieGoGo, and Film Kickstarter.
While all of these sites have very similar user interfaces and guidelines, they each have specific features and restrictions you need to follow.

There are many creative ways that creative people get agent work on the indie film circuit. From talking to agents while in graduate school, to contacting local agents to pitch your ideas, here’s what you need to do.
For starters, learn which book agents are the most likely to take your project.
Once you know who you’re talking to and what kind of book they’re looking for and the price of the book, the next step is to start sending out your pitches to potential agent referrals.
For example, if you are the writer and director of a short film with a potential casting directors meeting on the horizon, then you would use those reps as your pitch to other agents. You could reach them directly by email, over the phone, or through the website www.agentsofinthepitch.com.
Once you know how often your pitch is accepted, you can then start contacting agents about other projects that they’re interested in.
