A man who allegedly made sexual advances toward two women inside an east Los Angeles pizza restaurant has been charged with attempted murder.
The attack happened on Wednesday morning at about 10 a.m. at the Pizza by the Crust in Culver City, police said.

Erik Gonzalez, 18, is accused of approaching the 19-year-old woman at the bar, and saying he wanted a blow job.
“He wanted to get a blowjob and to suck her cock,” said Angeles resident and witness Livia Rivera.
But instead, Gonzalez followed her into the women’s bathroom, where she had to fight him off, Rivera said.
Gonzalez is facing a charge of attempted murder for what authorities call an attempted sexual assault and has since bonded out of jail, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The woman who was attacked told officers that Gonzalez and another man were harassing her before the incident at the pizzeria. The woman, identified as Sarah Jane, said that on Wednesday, she had ordered a pepperoni pizza and that she took the first bite.
“I thought he was joking and when I started chewing the pepperoni slice it made me scream and cry,” Sarah Jane told KABC-TV. “He was not even joking. He had a big smile on his face and he was asking me to blow him.”
However, Sarah Jane quickly found out that he did not have a big smile on his face because he grabbed her ass while trying to put a finger in her vagina, according to KABC.
“When I asked him to put it away, he grabbed my ass again and again and again,” Sarah Jane told KABC. “I thought he was kidding about putting it away and I started screaming and trying to call a manager. When I didn’t get any help from the manager, another employee came to help me.”
Investigators said the couple called 911 and officers arrested Gonzalez outside of the restaurant.
The victim’s injuries were not particularly serious, police said, although she was taken to a hospital in critical condition and will receive a second surgery.
