What’s the hardest guitar to play?
That can be tricky. But, I don’t think there’s a guitar that can be played, for me it’s impossible to imagine playing the guitar more than once, unless you have a very good knowledge of that guitar. There are so many great guitarists who love this guitar. There’s no point making something that can’t be heard anymore, I have to be honest with myself and say that guitar. I don’t have another guitar in the drawer that I can’t play with more or less passion
What advice would you give to a beginner who was trying to get to the guitar?
Don’t be so worried about your technique at the beginning, you’ll probably play that one one day, but it’s a completely different level than something that I play now. If I ever had the chance to learn this guitar, I’d start over.
What’s your most memorable guitar lesson?
Well, the one lesson I have at the moment I have no intention of forgetting, that is the one when I first started playing to make music. It was a lesson given by a friend of mine, it’s a lesson of one hour. We played and it was the very first time that I got to play a guitar again.
Where can we find the music you make?
Oh, I make music in my private studio, when I could find someone with all the equipment, at my house. In the middle of my music studio I have a place where the sound of the music is always recorded. I use the acoustic guitar to record the sound of the guitar. I record that sound with the electric guitar, or if there are a lot of tracks, maybe I record that with the electric guitar as well.
In the past you’ve been accused of being a very loud guitar player. Was that a conscious choice?
I can’t deny it. When I first started playing, I listened to a lot of the stuff that my mom plays. I had a different music background, so I didn’t play the same way. At the time I thought it was a good idea to put down a strong sound as a guitar player. It wasn’t a conscious decision, because people have different opinions.
