Can Photoshop remove clothes? – Principles Of Photo Editing

Yes, the answer is yes and a little bit more than that. Photoshop allows you to turn off the ability of clothing to move around in three different ways: when wet, when dried, and when wet and dry, but not when wet and dry and not when dried and dry. Here’s the full list of methods Photoshop can use to remove clothing (and their respective steps).

On Wet Clothing

On wet clothes, the method we know by heart is “Remove clothing by changing pose.” Once you have created your pose, open Photoshop, and click the Change Pose button. The image you see now will be your last image in the sequence – this is a good time to reset your position (don’t worry, it only takes a few seconds). Then, as you have done before, go into the effects palette, and go to Image > Apply Effects to the last image you’ve created.

Click your image now to go back to your original pose. Now, use Image > Save As. This will take your change in a new document, and is one of the most useful ways to get rid of clothing after a fashion show, with a little practice.

After you’ve finished with your change, go back to your last image and click Create New Blank Image. This new image should look something like the picture up there:

Step 4: Choose a new image

The next thing we want to do is to create a new, unblended, background image for removing clothing from. Go to Edit > Export > Blended Image > Create a New Blank.

You will get a dialog box asking for a type of image you would like to export. This should be one that isn’t too blurry, which is the background image you’ve just made. But what we really want is something with an undyed background that will be suitable for removing clothing from, because clothing fades over time and can look like a ghost or other distracting effect, even in the most natural lighting situation. We don’t want a photo that might look like a static frame – we want something that is moving, like a moving head with a hand or foot (which you should probably try not to show).

So just choose Blended Image > Default as well as Blended Image > Blended Image > Default (click on the images and they will appear in the list). The default type of
