If I could write a blog post that summed up my favorite season of Breaking Bad, I’d have to go with “Breaking Bad’s best.” It’s a season that is so much more interesting and challenging than it may initially seem. It isn’t always like Breaking Bad, it isn’t always a typical episode, there are multiple episodes, the writing is great, so is the acting, a lot of times good actors make excellent choices, there’s a lot of interesting character drama, we’ll get to all of those in a moment, but for the most part, it is a season that has been built over time to its fullest, for which I can be absolutely grateful.

In any case, one of the things that has been so impressive to me in Breaking Bad has been just how many different ways the writers have found ways to make this show’s central character, Walter White, interesting. Here are just a few such ways, and what they have meant for the series.
