My understanding of what Photoshop is is that it’s a software suite containing multiple programs called plugins that you use to alter and edit the way things are displayed in the photo. These are basically the tools that I use and have to use to apply my own edits onto my photos. The only problem that I have with this as most people don’t use these tools, is that I really enjoy editing photos, if I’m not editing it in photoshop and using other programs. For me, this means that I need to make a decision very quickly about how I’m going to go about taking my photos. When using photoshop, I want to know exactly what each of the tools do and why I need it. I tend to go for something light but still have a bit of control over the editing process of the photo. For me, if the image is more than three images I can get a more complex look with a few layers. When taking a photo, I want to make sure that it’s sharp and looks sharp, and my editing process won’t be as heavy or time consuming as you would with a standard program.
