No. VSCO Cam is free to use for students and instructors. If you are in an institution that offers a Virtual Campus option, they can register for it, and use the VSCO Cam software for free. This means you do not need to pay a rental fee to use the VSCO Cam software. In addition to not requiring a rental fee, you do not need to pay for additional software licenses; you just need an account.
How is a Student to Register?
To sign up for the VSCO Cam service, you must be a registered student or instructor in the School of Digital and Intermedia Arts. In order to sign up for VSCO Cam, visit your Student Center and log in.
How does my students sign up for VSCO Cam?
Your students can sign up for the VSCO Cam free for use by students who are enrolled in an instructor-led course. If you’re not the instructor on a course, your students can sign up to sign up for VSCO Cam for students who have their own registration and are enrolled in the same course.
What if I’m not an instructor?
You can’t sign up for the VSCO Cam without an instructor. The same goes for an instructor being in your course. If you have multiple teachers or staff members in your program, an instructor is needed to sign up for VSCO Cam.
