How to start taking the test?
You’re probably wondering: “So, what does it take to pass the piano test? How hard is it? How long does it take? How long can you take it?” Or you might have the same questions and are still waiting. You’re probably waiting for this blog post to tell you the hard way. In the very first page of the piano test questions, most of them require you take the piano test by pressing a button. Many questions ask you to select your key on the piano, to enter the notes and to “play the piano.” On average, only 25 keys are used by all the tests.
If you’ve ever wondered what the test questions look like in advance but wanted to look at it on paper, here it is.
For those of you who think about the piano as a toy which is hard to master: You may be surprised to see how little the piano test requires you to learn, and all you have to do is to answer questions. The most important thing is to answer them correctly. You can look at test questions from a long perspective and imagine yourself playing the piano and playing the questions. You may even notice how much it reminds you of the piano.
This article does not deal with piano tests. However, there are some tips for students of piano who want to learn the keyboard with no previous piano experience.
Most common questions on the piano test
These are not your average piano test questions (but there are also a few very common questions):
