How can you memorize them all? I’m taking a new piano course and there are so many things I didn’t get to! I started with the basic shapes and chords but it took me years to learn them all. I finally figured out they’re just a bunch of keys that have sounds and you can just play them in real time using those sounds.
6. What is your favorite memory? I remember the first time I played with my first kids. It was so good.
7. Can you share some of your favorite music? I remember when I was a kid singing my brother’s songs (he was a musician but I was too lazy to make money playing music). I remember when I was 9 years old and I started to play a small version of the Beatles’ “Come Together”.
8. What do you miss most in life? I miss my mom. She is so special to me. I think that I’m still on tour in the year 2000 but I miss her.
9. What is your favorite book? I read a lot of books. My favorite one was The Last Samurai when I was in the 7th grade.
10. If you had the opportunity to fly anywhere in the world, where would you go? I have my two favorite places. I was born in India and I will always live in India! I love the food and it’s very unique and different from the rest of the world. I would go all over the world.
11. What was your greatest failure? My parents did this in the house, never getting sick and never having kids of their own. I have no idea where in that family failure happened.
12. When did the first time you started to play an instrument become an “obsession”? My first guitar.
13. What is your greatest achievement? A lot of people don’t realize that being a father is harder than being a musician. I can’t say I have too many achievements to put up there since I’m not so busy being a musician.
14. What would you change about your life? I don’t want to say much because it’s too hard of a question.
15. What’s your favorite meal? My favorite meal is pizza.
16. What is your least favorite meal? I don’t have a least favorite meal.
