Just learn to strum it well enough so that it’s comfortable and that it feels natural to strum. It just takes practice and patience to practice correctly and get the feel of your ukulele.
Step 3: Tune your instrument
Once you understand how to strum your ukulele properly and can also play comfortably, you need to tune up your ukulele. Try to play with a steady stream of air instead of rushing your strings. You can either strum continuously or slow down your string speed to fine tune your tuning. If there is a major difference between your uke and your instrument, it might be necessary to change your tuning. If you can’t play well at all between tuning your uke and an instrument you are familiar with, you’re not just not playing your instrument well enough as a beginner.
