The strings on a guitar are tuned from A to A# . On a ukulele you are tuning your ukulele to a different, slightly different, pitch. For example, the tuning of an ukulele is C-sharp .
The two notes A and G are in a major scale.
B is in a minor scale.
G is in a diminished scale.
