I’ll show you the basics of playing a ukulele – basic fingering and scale fingering. For the sake of simplicity I am just listing the basic scale, and fingering, for beginners, starting with the C major scale. The C major scale, in this case, begins with the G major scale:
A C G B# D# E F# Am F# B F# D# E#

The only difference between the G and C major scales is that the C major scale is made with the A (D#) in the root position. On the guitar, the A (D#) is the major 3rd of the scale, a fret less than the G Major scale.
Since the G major scale is used in the C major scale, you can use the root and fifth to play the C major scale:
In C, the A (D#) in the root position serves as the root. Since the G major scale is used in C, you use the B as the fifth.
But the C major scale, in the right hand on the ukulele, is a little different. Here is the first chord on the piano part in the free fretboard lesson “Fretboard Charts for beginners”. You can also find a series of chords on the guitar that sounds similar to C major:

When you play the C major scale, you play one finger (usually on the index finger) that moves across the fretboard to add tension and resolution to the notes:
By adding a note every time that you press down on the C major scale for a given chord, you create a continuous, powerful sound. In short, this process is called “whipping,” and the more you practice it, the more efficient can you get.
So it’s a good idea to learn a lot of patterns that can be used to get faster. You can use any scale shape to play the C major scale (although the C major scale will work more easily for most players). Here is a brief primer on how to
