I’ve noticed some people say it’s hard to be a ventriloquist.

I’ve had people tell me, “You know what, people are so much more accepting of you when you dress like a ventriloquist and act like a ventriloquist”
They’re right.
But they’re also completely wrong, because it is really hard to be a ventriloquist when you aren’t wearing makeup!
You’ve got to learn to act like a ventriloquist the old fashioned way, just like a ventriloquist is an actor who plays a ventriloquist.
The guy who did “The ventriloquist’s dummies (with music)” and all the videos before that, didn’t have much confidence in how to act as a ventriloquist for fear he’d be “discredited” and lose his livelihood.
As a ventriloqwe, you have to learn to act how it feels like a ventriloquist to get your work done!
Anyway, I hope something new comes out of this discussion, because ventriloquism is a really interesting concept!
