I made a microphone and a speaker to create the sound from the puppet. I used a computer to convert the puppet voice into an audio file that I can upload/save to the phone or the PC for playback. I then recorded a microphone on the puppet’s head and an onboard microphone on the front of the puppet so I could record the speaker’s voice as well.
Is your name the name of a character in the show?
“Puppets” is the name of my puppet.
Can you talk about your character?
I have a large, unique and expressive body that allows me to be the perfect “pet” for the kids to be entertained. I’m good at being calm, quiet and kind with children and also a little naughty. I have several different toys for them to play with, and I get along very well with any group of kids I’m working with (unless they are very difficult).
How do you think they see you in the series?
Kids enjoy being able to see their puppets in the show. I’ve been very lucky with being able to keep in touch with my audience through my socials on Facebook and Twitter and through the website puppetvids.com. I love talking about the show to friends and family and being able to interact with my fans in so many different ways.
So the puppets can appear in a series of different situations… What are your favorite scenes from the show?
Favorite scene: when the girl gets really excited over a new toy!
