The National Guard is investigating the fire that destroyed a mobile home park just south of the Fort Worth International Airport.
The blaze caused $500,000-worth of damage Monday morning.
The home in the 8300 block of U.S. 90 was a mobile home.
According to the Department of Defense’s Joint Task Force 4, that is part of the reason the National Guard started an investigation.
“It is the most extensive investigation into a single fire in the history of the National Guard,” the task force stated.
Police are also working along with the Air and Marine Corps to find the cause.
The Fort Worth Fire Department is also investigating what sparked the fire.
“We are also having to ask a lot of questions and get as much information as we can because we have a very dangerous situation going on here,” Lt. Doug Lunsford, Fire Marshal for Fort Worth Public Safety, said.
The fire destroyed everything inside.
“Everything inside the mobile home collapsed and it’s just been a mess in there,” homeowner Robert Davis said.
