How much is Lightroom? – Learn Photo Editing Skills

How many hours of video do I normally use? How can I be a better photographer? In this short video I show you exactly how I use Lightroom as a professional. I have had the pleasure of being in the business for 30+ years and in that time, I have been taught a lot, met a lot of great people and have a lot of knowledge. I also know how much good Lightroom is doing because I have owned my own Lightroom setup for some of those years. My only goal is to share that knowledge so that other people can learn from me. In this video, I talk about my Lightroom and how it all works.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently received new satellite imagery of Hurricane Harvey as well as a new set of data on the size, intensity and path of the storm.

The data showed that Harvey’s strength remained roughly consistent with the storm’s last two hurricanes — Wilma in 2005 and Ike in 2008.

The new satellite imagery released Wednesday showed Harvey’s winds, storm surge, torrential rainfall and heavy rain — and it showed that Harvey has been the most powerful hurricane to make contact with Texas since it left Cuba around February 29 when it was 125 miles (201 kilometers) off the coast of Florida.

Houston made landfall on Aug. 25 as a Category 5 hurricane. As of Friday afternoon, the storm had sustained winds of at least 155 miles per hour (250 kilometers an hour), making it one of the most intense storms to make landfall in Houston since the storm’s landfall nearly 13 years ago.

As a tropical storm, Harvey’s winds will slowly increase throughout Harvey’s trek across the Atlantic Ocean but Harvey will still be the strongest since it left Cuba. The hurricane will reach Category 3 intensity as it’s approaching the Gulf Coast of the U.S., according to AccuWeather senior meteorologist Chris Dolce.

In total, Harvey is estimated to be more than a foot (30 centimeters) wider than the previous “monster hurricane” Irma and will be about five to eight feet (1 to 1.5 meters) greater than the record-setting 2012 Aleutian Islands hurricane that caused the largest rainfall on record in Alaska. It will also be the second-strongest hurricane to reach land since records began in the late 1700s, AccuWeather senior meteorologist Chris Dolce said in a Wednesday blog post.
