The easiest to use. The software I’ve used the most is E-Prime by Adobe (this is the easiest of all of the photo editor options). It’s the easiest to install and the program is well designed and I use it daily. The only complaint I have is that it’s not a drag-and-drop, manual editing program, which can be tricky when you have so many adjustments. You can still use the software to edit photos in ways that are convenient but to get good results without manual editing, I’ve found the software to be too big for my needs because it really does need a lot of work to achieve something that’s really nice. It’s also very slow to start, but that can be overcome by downloading E-Prime’s trial package.
What photo editing software do you recommend that won’t break the bank? If you go with a full-featured photo editor that’s also good for other kinds of editing or if you want to edit more than just photos, I wouldn’t turn to any commercial or paid program because many of them are very clunky and take too much time to create great results. I recommend the PhotoShop Pro because it’s simple, works well, and costs less than half the price as commercial programs!
How do you take photographs to be taken better? For my work, I’m taking a wide variety of photos. A lot of the photographs are for events and the people in them have little clothes and make a big difference in their outfits. I start by having a picture from about 3 feet away and trying to take a wider shot to get closer shots. I have the Nikon D800 that I use for those jobs because it has great low light capabilities and allows me to take a wider image. What photo editing software does your computer work with the most? Photoshop and similar programs are my favorite but Photoshop Live is also very useful. Since Photoshop doesn’t support RAW, I shoot with the ProPhoto plugin (there are a few others). Other than the ProPhoto, I use a variety of others programs including Pixlr, PhotoBlast, Pixlr 3, Lightroom 4, Capture One, Avidemux, Lightroom 3, Lightroom RAW, and others for images. When I’m doing prints or promotional work I’m using Adobe Premiere Pro for printing and Lightroom 4 for editing and publishing. Do you have a favorite photo editing software?
