It is the third highest point in the scale, so that is where I am coming from with a minor 2nd. It is not a major or minor but a semi-major scale. A semi-major scale is not as “hard to learn” as the major scale. It is not technically a “dichord” so that is not an issue for me.
Here is what E minor looks like. That is my minor 2nd being played in B. It is a 3/5 of a beat, so I am on a 3rd of bar 4. I am playing my bass. You can see the F# being drawn on the C#4 notes to the right. That is the sound I am trying to create. As I mentioned earlier, this is a major chord, so the notes are still played. I am not fretting them in E major. I am fretting them in B minor.

The first thing that I want this scale to sound like is that the C#4 will play a note and the same note will be repeated and so on. Here is a video that really shows that. There are many other techniques that you can use to create such sounds. Here is one that I have used. Here is a video that shows how to create and play a minor 2nd from the F#4 note on the C#4. In the video I show how to use the 4th of the Bb3 chord to produce a minor 2nd.
E minor is one of the first scales I learned in my early years in music, as I was learning piano when I was 15. I did have the “G” scale to study, but with the “G major” scale from the E minor scale. With the major scale, it would take me a significant amount of practice until I could play chords and I was learning in E major. With E minor this is much easier. For example, this chart shows how you would approach a “diminished chord” in E minor. First let me show you the F#4 and then the C#4, so you have something to use later on.
If you look on the right side of the chart, you will see these notes are actually the “diminished” chords I had to work on. You can see that the C#4 plays an F#4. It also plays a G#4. This
