In the world of music, being a singer is different with regards to its meaning and practice. One of the main roles of a singer is to be a singer. No one is forced in being a singer and there are no restrictions on the singing profession. In the Islamic religion, there are no restrictions regarding music.
Regarding music being haram, a group singer who works independently to give his/her life for his/her community; a musician who works as a team; a person who does not sing solely for personal enjoyment or a person who enjoys listening to music; a person who does not play musical instruments in public except a violin as a result of severe injury or as a result of need – all those members who perform in this way will enjoy the benefits of music as much as the ordinary person by being able to be their own person and be comfortable in the surroundings.
The people who choose to be singers, musicians or singers and musicians are among the best in every aspect, the best singers are a minority of the people but they are important for the public. The rest of the people do not accept singing for themselves only. Many of the singers are members of the local mosques. The Prophet SAW (SALLAAM) himself said, “What is most excellent is that a Muslim woman can sing in front of people while men are asked to remain in the mosque.” (Muslim)
A Canadian teen is missing after flying the wrong way over the North Pole on Christmas Eve.
Joshua Eaves, 17, from the town of Port Moody, B.C., said he was on his way to a ski trip with his cousin when the plane made a sudden turn – and then disappeared over the Arctic Circle.
“I’m just glad to be home.”
Eaves told Kijiji that he got off the plane at the last moment and spent the night at a friend’s house before he saw a small silver cube in the sky that “kind of looked like a Christmas tree.”
In a post from his Facebook page, Eaves said that on Christmas Eve, his plane landed in the middle of the Arctic Circle, but it was cold – and he was wearing his snowboard and shorts – so he decided to take it easy on the icy ground.
