What is a belt line?
Belt width is defined by two things: the length of the belt and the front and sides. For example, if you are wearing a 1.5 inch belt (the width of a man’s belt) and you have a belt width of 5 inches, then your belt line of course is 5 inches.

The front of a belt is the middle part of the belt. We don’t mean it at the back as well, where you can see it. That comes by the fact that belts can come down and rest on you but they cannot be pushed up by you.
